Zanisnik had a performance in LA called The Problem with Appetite and we did another Playbill (as seen in the comics section). Hyperallergic recommended his show, found my old timeline of his life and linked it without even asking! Very cool. http://hyperallergic.com/135634/artrx-la-2/
I made this linocut print in celebration of the first day of fall and the fall of Breaking Bad. I'm 10 days late in posting this feat. Say it in your best Jesse Pinkman impression and enjoy the most colorful of seasons with a monochromatic print. Editions available, limit one per household.

Last bike season, my cousin Mark and I rode from his hovel in Beacon, NY over the Hudson River to Newburgh to catch a pretty sweet tour of Bannerman Island, an abandoned island in the middle of the river that used to house a military surplus warehouse. It blew up in the 1920's and never fully recovered. They're still finding LIVE shells from the Spanish American War there, so stay on the path. Oh yeah, there's a steamboat too.
xoVain, the online offshoot of xoJane, recently asked me to do a few drawings for them. They are featured in a video that is kind of a take off on the Dove commercials that have a sketch artist blindly rendering a woman as she describes herself. Mine were less than blindly done but still not straight sitting portraits. I tried to make them all look prettier, the point of this whole exercise, but these pretty, young, self-confident ladies didn't need much help from me. Watch the video.
